Rather than start a separate thread for each title i thought i'd start this one where i'll ocasionally post screengrabs from some blu-ray releases that may interest some here (or maybe not ) i'll start with the excellent early 80's Stallone vehicle Nighthawks which has received a hi def release in Germany. looks like universal have licensed this title out to a company called Lighthouse and the news isn't good, Pal Speed up, 1080i and worst of all it's the same old cut at the end version with replaced music tracks Here's some caps

@saltysam, my condolences if you bought it.

It was cheap and a pre-order,i won't lose sleep over buying it. Can trade it or sel it on.Shameful this film hasn't had a proper release.While Germany has some interesting releases i think it probably pays to await reviews...the new Expendables DC release over there is an upscale allegedly.

I think my friend and I tried watching this while being drunk. Did not make it to the end. =[ How the hell such titles already get BD releases while some big-ass budget blockbusters don't,is beyond me.
