What should be on Blu-ray?

Post by Keung »

Doesn't necessarily have to be Asian. What are you hoping will get the HD treatment?

I would really like a Gen X Cops Blu-ray. There's hundreds more, it's just that it's past midnight and I can't be bothered to type a huge list.

I don't really care what comes out on BD. I just wish more films would make their DVD debut. Or if they happened to come out on BD then even better. But upgrading stuff that is already available on DVD to BD is boring.

I wanted Battle Royale on BD but it's out now. In the Mood for Love and Scarface (1983) please. The latter is coming in September :D.

You don't have to upgrade every one. I've got plenty I'll never upgrade but lots I would.

Apparently the Indiana Jones films will be out SOMETIME next year. As long as they don't force me to buy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Yes I know what it is... But do you really think it's worthy of a Blu-ray release? I highly doubt the quality is there to make an HD print. Judging by the few episodes I've seen on TV recently, it looks like it was recorded on video.

They did it with Friends.

Depends on the source material.

Heres wishing that they do have the quality to make better prints. Especially as t.vs are getting bigger all the time.

The current dvd boxsets look so poor on a large screen.
If ever we do get a HD source it may be quite abit of a wait for us.

Still theres always hope, after all we now have the series 'Firefly' bluray :D
