I wouldn't get my hopes up for an uncut version or original mono.

Argh. Still cut, still downmixed. They could've easily fixed both. Warners have put out unrated versions of R-rated films before, so why not this horror classic? The downmixed "mono" is just fucking lazy. The old DVD I believe had the original mono. A real shame since the image and extras appear to be excellent.

Also, although not important, same shitty artwork is carried over from the Infinifilm.

Both of these are much better designs:

The original Non-SE (but anamorphic) DVD has the Original Mono. I've no real problem with the 5.1 (it's the sort of film where 5.1 can work well) on the SE but can see why many are pissed. Isn't it missing a few seconds or something though?

The art work is okay but I too cannot understand why they don't just re-use the original poster artwork. Optimum had the right idea when they re-used the poster art work for all of that batch of BDs, they released a while back.

At least this will get extras too and possibly cheaper.

I like extras for cult/classic movies. I think the ones for ELM seem to be very good. But otherwise Warners have let the fans down with needless cuts and downmixing.

I only meant for comparisons sake. Is that £9.9 total/including postage?
