Actually Warners will be putting out their BD with BOTH cuts: Theatrical and "director's".

I much preferred the TC even if it was supervised by Mel Gibson rather than Brian Helegland.

I got the HD DVD for a few quid, was not very impressed with that fancy new short cut (it did it job, just the same film really, but that bit different to call it a new film I guess), cannot say I would pay any more for a Blu Ray (even if it was cheap) as I have the dvd and the HD DVD, so own both cuts.
Still you never know what they may do for this version, mind you the list of extras look like the same crap from the HD DVD.
Best thing is nice to see the Blu Ray getting a better disc, thats nice.
