I cannot see DOBW coming for years. The other two though definitely. I know you were only offering suggestions .
It's well bloody annoying there is already a Hard Boiled HD Disc (I cannot remember if it was HD-DVD or BD) released but you have toy buy a bloody overpriced Computer Game to get it. Gee thanks!

Thanks Gasterpod. Nothing seems to have changed except the dropping of TrueHD. No loss there. It's good to see the BD spec is still good. I bet this means the other missing Tartan BDs will now come. They must've done some work on them before they went bust.

Re: Further Tartan Blu-ray titles!
Except for 36, they're all titles Tartan did or were going to release. I imagine they're releasing titles they've already got the BDs ready to go for first.
My number one is Battle Royale. That will be amazing in HD!

Re: Further Tartan Blu-ray titles!
I think it's worth pointing out that for a lot of their Asian titles Tartan seemingly only had tape or NTSC masters, given the number of interlaced and NTSC>PAL conversions they churned out.

Those didn't affect their BDs though, surely? DVDs are largely dead to me.

Re: Further Tartan Blu-ray titles!
They've only released a small handful of Asian blu-rays so we're not seeing their back-catalogue titles that had the shittier masters - yet. Hopefully Tartan will be going back to the studios for proper masters for HD titles, but it's less hassle both timewise and economically for them to just work with what they already have.
I'm not saying that their pending releases are gonna turn out shit btw, I'm talking about their whole back catalogue.

Re: Further Tartan Blu-ray titles!
Apparently the UK BD of Lady Vengeance only contains the Fade to Black version, cool, since that's the director's preferred version I'm quite happy about that, although a choice of both would obviously have been nice.
