I suspect the fact it's devoid of any 'noise' at all, is down to the restoration rather than the authoring of the disc.

Looks great ! My only complaint would be faces looks a little bit waxy in some shots (slightly odd-looking noise too at times) .

Unusually, you can see the film corners on the left side too.

Any idea if there will be any other blu rays down the pipeline? Were there hd masters for 8 Diagram Pole Fighter and Shaolin Mantis? I ask because I was gonna get these two but it would seem pointless if these were to go the blu ray route any time in the near future

Edit: looks like there are hd masters for 8 Diagram Pole fighter and Shaolin Mantis. Now its just a matter if they will release blu rays.
