Thanks mate!

I know it's terrible LOL, but on Blu-Ray, it looks video-like with slight posterisation.

However, it's genuine HD and generally alright (maybe titles vary) :). Are there embedded interlacing artefacts on David Chiang's featurette?

You have to take into account jpeg compression on the BD caps. The actual disc will look better.

Thanks mate.

The featurette is meant to be interlaced I believe, but when you de-interlace the video, do they still show (you don't need to post caps)? It was a problem on the DVD (Ti Lung's was fine), but wondered if it was corrected for the Blu-Ray?

It's giving an interlaced flag to stuff that's film-based I'm against, but if something's shot and intended interlaced, that's fine.

In a bizarre case, I think MB accidentally encoded the video with embedded interlacing going on. See the DVD.
