House of Fury: US Blu-Ray vs HK DVD
Tai Seng BD top.
Joy Sales DVD bottom.
As usual, don't pay any attention to the slight differences in hue.
The BD probably isn't that red, and the DVD probably isn't that orange.

That last cap says it all, doesn't it?
Average DVD, fantastic BD.
Highly recommended upgrade.

Tai Seng is a fucking joke of a company. Edko wins regardless due to my extremely low respect for Tai Seng so to hell with them. I don't support their practices and everything. I import rather than owning any Tai Seng in my collection. Next time, warn people before clicking on a thread which has the dumbass "Tai Seng = RIP OFF ARTISTS" being compared. So until a Blu-ray is released from another company, this comparison is highly misleading. I mean who in their right mind would openly buy a Tai Seng release?
Yes, I do mean everything I say/type in my signature about them.
Tai Seng to me = bootleggers but they're a "legit" company.
This shall not be tolerated.

@Ray Rogers:
Bootleggers, eh?
Who else has released House of Fury on BD already? Nobody.
So stop spreading misinformation about Tai Seng.
And BTW: bootleggers don't buy the rights to the films they distribute. I'm sure Tai Seng do.
The Tai Seng BD is a perfectly acceptable solution.
But if you have a reasonable reason why people shouldn't buy this, we'd be more than happy to hear it.
"Reasonable" being the keyword here.
Read my new sig.

You sound a lot smarter now than in your first post.
Maybe we can talk about this after all.
Opinions are opinions. They are not facts, right?
You can dislike Tai Seng all you want, you can even put it in your sig.
I don't even have a problem with that.
Now, I thought was comparing a perfectly decent BD to a perfectly decent DVD.
And you're trying to convince people that Tai Seng aren't a real company, and that people who buy their DVDs should be ashamed of themselves.
"who in their right mind would openly buy a Tai Seng release?"
That's what you're saying, is it not?
You can't spread misinformation in a thread that is meant to "inform" people.
It's called propaganda.
Would some other mod tolerate this? Maybe.
Would I tolerate it? No.
Like I said, give us a reasonable argument and we'll take it.
Saying "Tai Seng is a joke" can't get you anywhere unless you tell us why.
So please tell us: what is wrong with Tai Seng?
I am honestly curious about this.

Don't even get me more riled up. I;ll wait to see this title in Hi Def from a more "legitimate" company. Saying one who isn't a redistributor of other companies releases and rarely makes their own product.tom2681 wrote:You sound a lot smarter now than in your first post.

Just drop it. I'm staying out of this thread due to the fact you won't respect my views on this cheap-ass company and are treating it like a damn joke. Change your signature please. I'll only ask once. :x

Okay, but it's just to make you happy.
Being a mod, I don't have to do anything.
That's okay. I can't afford to care, anyway.Ray Rogers wrote:Just drop it.
