The old release looks to have more edge enhancement, but comes off as slightly sharper because of it. The colour palette is mildly altered too.

WOW EE or no EE the Original looks far better. The SE is all blurry, does it look blurry in the real-world?

this proves to me caps can be deceptive.looking through both discs the old release looks very grainy and the new one much better.yet the caps make it look a close call

Captures can't show movement thus lots of things such as grain can be hidden.
