I never understood the praises Gil had for Dimension transfers. They're quite ugly with bad artefacting and edge enhancement

They looked decent to me.

Some of them do have edge enhancement, but they often look better than others doing them.

Got my copy yesterday, and watched a bit this morning before work - picture looks nice, though there was a bit of shimmering in the picture? Did anyone else notice this? (kinda like it was pulsing from dark to light in some scenes (it's certainly not overpowering, and I've seen this on other movies too))...

Also, I did actually see some weird motion blur that people have mentioned affected Tai Chi Master as well (which I didn't notice... I'll probably notice it on that DVD now, bastards!).
