We're just expressing denial in different ways. :D
But, you're right, they can't let that happen. I mean, I can already think of a way out of it, given the Island's, er, powers.
Would it be considered a bit of a stretch though?

Er, sorry, that barely made sense to me. If you can decipher it, then kudos to you

Hey, that makes sense to me! After all, if the island can heal a broken spine, then why not? ;)

What a fucking anticlimatic episode! After all the shit and the hobbit ain't dead yet? I've been waiting 3 seasons for his death, most annoying character on the show.

Anticlimactic? What, swimming into an underwater station that was meant to be flooded, and then having two women come out and point guns at him? Yeah, dead anticlimactic...

Nah, I actually agree with Eva here. Nothing happened in this episode, except to build up to the season finale for next week. As for Hobbit, you knew that with all the build-up, they weren't going to off him in this episode. Once I saw that stinkin' checkered Van of his floating in the water, I knew without a doubt he would live. :?

As I posted elsewhere, please, oh please, let it happen next week!

WHAT? Kill Sun, but not Charlie.

Besides... WTF? Next week is the final episode of this season? What will be my purpose in life until the start of season 4? :?

Thank you Cpt. Obvious. Not all shows are serial based like this one, most operate upon self-contained episodes.

What a fantastic season finale! Woohoo!

LOTS of questions answered (especially the pressing question about WHY it was important that Hurley found a van :D ), and now the biggest question looming is whether or not getting rescued is a good thing. . . .

Golden pass. I love it.

I thought it was all very weird. What could it all mean? Were those flash-forwards then?

Charlie is now finally dead? Shame, I quite liked him.

Locke's turned into a cold-blooded murderer... killing that new woman. I don't think I like him?

Yup so now we know who escape the island, or really who are the 2 people who escapes. So who do you think is in the coffin, I personally think it is Sawyer, however my wife thinks Kate is with him

Looks like we are looking forward to flash-forwards now, an interesting concept. Looks like Ben was right, The new woman may be the new enemies for next season, so the others and the camp may team up. Poor Charlie :(

How can she be the enemy if her team is responsible for rescuing them?

Good going. Now we'll never have answers to shit like WTF the smoke monster is, what happened to the body of Jack's/Claire's father, why is that Richard never aged, etc.

Yes we will get those answers...

We don't know that's how they get off the island, or what the deal is (you two can leave but we'll kill everyone else) who knows. In the Lost Experience, apparently there was information about a ship built by Paik's company which was used to search for the island, this could be the ship.

We see that neither Jack or Kate are really happy with their lives back home. Locke is the only person who knows that what he is doing is correct. And Ben might be, too. The scene where Ben asks Jack why he wants to go back to his miserable life so badly, combined with the ending made me figure that.

The person in the coffin might be someone who lived in poor circumstances as the place where the wake was helf didn't exactly look like Beverly Hills. Maybe Ben? He wouldn't be a rich person if he was sent back home. The coffin was rather small.

Also, why does Jack tell the other doctor to bring his father down? Isn't his father dead? Jack says to Kate "I'm sick of lying!", meaning that some uber-bastards made them remain silent about the whole affair. That would explain why we see "dead" characters appearing on the island (Jack's/Claire's father, Locke's father, Yemi...). These supposed dead characters were all involved?

Oh and Sawyer stays the most awesome character of the series.
