Mock The Week: 4.5/5

Frankie Boyle on top form tonight as usual  Loved his Jeremy Kyle rant :D
Loved the Canadian guy, Stuart Francis too. His stand up was the funniest!

I saw Frankie Boyle on a repeat of an old Live at the Apollo and he was very funny. The bit about the 63 year old giving birth was effin' hilarious.

SpongeBob is well funny, I've only seen a few episodes but I'll probably buy the series sometime.

I have Season 1, havent seen all of it yet but some episodes as you say are really funny, like Ripped Pants, which reminded me of a Simpsons episode, the Batman spoofery of Mermaid Man/Barnacle Boy, Plankton! and Pickles :D

I once saw an episode where they all suddenly grew moustaches, and the little snail thing went 'meow!' with a moustache on, it made me crack up :D

I saw an episode where they deliver chocolate, and get taught how to be good salesmen.
A really, old shrivelled thing answers the door...

Spongebob: Hello little girl, is your mother in?
Woman: Yes.
SB: (Double take): Wha..?!

I like the one where Spongebob is made the focus of the Krusty Krab, and Mr. Krabs makes spongy patties that have gone bad.
Squidward: You expect people to pay $1.98 for a ROTTEN patty?!
Mr. Krabs: That's a great idea, we'll make em $2.98! :D

I think I'd like Spongebob as well, but it's only being aired here dubbed in dutch, so I dont watch it.

We're not digital yet, so no :)
Most likely we will turn digital this summer, and I think we'll also get some american/english cartoon network channels or something.

I'm not in a rush to see them in english yet. I'm already very much looking forward to having kids some day, cause I'd love to watch these kind of series together with them :) (Dexter, Samurai Jack, Spongebob, etc etc)

Over the last few weeks, I've been watching Deadwood on Belgian TV. I'm 4 weeks (episodes) in, and it's just an amazing show, with good production-values and great acting from a fantastic cast. Such a shame this somehow got 'cancelled' (not continued) after the 3rd season orso.

Absolutely terrific.

Why is it that some horrible shows are allowed to run for many MANY seasons, and great shows like these get ended prematurely!?

It's on Cable, Grim. We can also receive a bunch of german channels, CNN, Eurosport, BBC 1 and 2, and a whole bunch of crappy channels.

We'll be getting digital in the coming weeks/months. Have to take care of it all this week or next week.
