Bionic gives ITV2 record ratings:

The first episode of US TV drama The Bionic Woman has given ITV2 its largest ever audience, initial figures suggest.

I cannot say I'm at surprised. It's had lots of adverts and Michelle Ryan was on Jonathan Ross last Friday. I bet people will quickly lose interest over the next few weeks though.

I recorded it and will check it out over the next few days.

I saw Michelle on Ross' show and she looked lovely.

So did I. I meant to post actually, did you think she looked absolutely nothing like she normally looks?

If they didn't say it was her I'd have thought she was another woman. She must have stacks of slap on on. She did look pretty nice as it happens but she looked nothing like the Michelle Ryan from pictures and East Enders.

I watched the second episode the other night. It's pretty good. I'm starting to get used to Michelle Ryan's accent and am even willing to now admit she looks nicer than she did in East Enders :D.

Like Torchwood it's nothing special though, but passes 50-60 minutes nicely.

OMG I'm just watching bits of Bionic Woman where she's playing an English student.

Michelle Ryan is English, pretending to be American, pretending to be English but it gets better, her English accent in the episode is NOT her actual accent.

It seems the studio execs thought her real English accent wasn't English enough so asked her to fake one, which btw for anyone not British out there her accent doesn't exist, well outside of the Royal Family anyway. It looks like she was asked to put on a fake upper class English accent, the sort Americans "think" an English accent sounds like.

So Michelle Ryan is English, pretending to be American, pretending to be English, pretending to sound like a member of the British Royal Family :D

The finale episode was on the other night. ITV didn't mention at al it was the last episode, weird.

I stopped watching a few weeks back but decided to check out the finale. It was better than prior ones but was still really poor. It's blatantly clear why it was cancelled.
