In short, it's an Edogawa Rampo story of a crippled solder returning home from war. But home becomes hell, when his own wife begins torturing the defenceless man. Hisayasu Sato also made a ultra disturbing adaptation of the story in the episode film Rampo Noir.
The main character's are played by Shima Onishi, and Shinobu Terajima, whom I'd consider one of the best actresses alive. Her performances in the Ryuichi Hiroki movies are amazing.

, she's the daughter of Junko Fuji and a kabuki actor, she's great in
Vibrator and
Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles .

Terrific poster indeed, but haven't we seen a very simular poster as this before...!? It just looks very familiar.
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

that wasn't the poster I was referring to... as I don't think I've ever seen that one. I'm sure I've seen one that was very much like the one for Caterpillar...
