Yes, such subs are unnacceptable for a US release. Imagine if they released Trail Of The Broken Blade and we had to put up AGAIN with Wang Yu telling his beloved to "go...eat something"

Don't think Wang Yu's beloved will binge at Dragon Dynasty anyway.

No, it's not on the list and Siren released it in Australia. Maybe Media Blasters might get around to it?

You've been on BNB all night. Go and eat something.

I doubt Media Blasters will touch it - Image is more likely.

Which lines are incorrect then? Obviously I didn't notice, so please share. I don't recall any sync problems, or spelling errors. So I really don't know what you're referring to?

In many cases, Celestial did do a HD master for the films. Actually, it was more or less a lucky result of the system they were using. But some were only given PAL masters. In the majority of cases, it's not possible to go back to the original neg to make another master. So the HD masters will be in whatever you want (NTSC or PAL), while if you need an NTSC version, you'd have to do a PAL to NTSC conversion.

It has seemingly emerged that titles claimed to be owned by DD, have now been released elsewhere, so don't get your hopes up :).

There have been some crazy conspiracy theories cooked up by bitter internet geeks suggesting that Bob & Harvey never actually owned anything they lay claim to. But the truth is they usually discard titles that they deem "un-bankable" and pass them onto smaller distributors like Lionsgate or Tai Seng.

How can they not own the rights to the films they release?

Which ones?

Letter to Harvey: Please send Yi early copies just to shut him up ;)

They're both overrated (although good). I won't be buying either :D

I will NEVER shut up about this. As soon as they release a perfect DVD release, I'll be bitching and moaning about them not releasing a HD version!

Ow yeah... oh yeah I will....

DangerousLeeHandsome was confused by it.
Brooce-Leroy said it was disjointed as hell.
I thought it was flawed but good.

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
