Re: What general film/series have you just seen.. marks out

Enter the Void (2009) - 4/5 Too long and trying, but technically very impressive and a unique experience that everyone should have at least once. You will when you die anyway ;) On the Silver Globe (1977/1987) - 4.5/5 Incomprehensible in parts due to it being unfinished, but what's there is just exc...

If you think the classifications are OK you should still tell them that you don't agree with censorship.

Gremlins (1984) - 3.5/5

I never saw this as a child so I don't have that nostalgic love, but I can see it's good, the gremlins were pretty funny.

Never seen Jacob's Ladder in any form :o Are there deleted scenes on the BD? I bought Unknown as it sounded like a good puzzle/mystery film like Triangle :D Nah I don't think they're on the UK BD. Once you've watched the film, you should watch them on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfMjoVY...

Only rewatched that the other night, have you seen the deleted scenes? It's driving me mad that they haven't released the original version so far, it would absolutely be an even better film. It's as bad as The Devils being cut, for me.

Diabel (1972) - 4.5/5

For the first half hour or so I wasn't quite following it but as it went on I got more into it and it ended up being an excellent film, I can't wait to watch it again.

Side Effects (2013) - 4/5

I was enjoying it more when it initially just seemed like a genuine dig at the pharmaceutical industry, but it's still a very good thriller.

James Bond Mega Movie; fairly average until spectacular action climax.
I loved that film when I was younger, would probably think less of it now but back then it was pretty much my favourite Bond film. Just sayin'.

Review of Shout's Police Story 1 & 23 Blu Ray..disappointing as expected http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Jackie-Chan-Police-Story-and-Police-Story-2-Blu-ray/63283/#Review If they'd have used the theatrical cut of PS2 I'd have been tempted to go for it, but it's the extended version by the looks of it.

Interesting. I thought The Future was very good but not as inspired as MYAEWK. I'm still in love with Miranda though. Hopefully not such a bit gap til the next one please :) Yeah MYAEWK is probably better but it's impressive that she's kept the same kind of style and artistic relevance with her sec...
